What is Global Warming?
Global warming is one of the major concern of this millennium and it is fact beyond debate. It is caused by increase in temperatute of the earth's near surface air and oceans in recent decades. This increase in observed temperature is caused by increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations. Global warming and sea level rise are expected to continue for more than a millennium even if greenhouse gas leveles are stebilized. This reflects the large heat capacity of the oceans.
Weapons to fight climate change include carbon-capture technologies and better land-use laws. Energy conservation is part of the solution. So are renewable fuels and private market incentives.
It is essiential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to fight Global Warming. Also energy-saving technology is to be deployed to fight Global Warming.
